This building is a hidden gem for stunning architecture.

Beautiful building. Just think of how many racially motivated extra-judicial lynchings began here? How many innocent men were sent off to the hangman, then sparky, @ Huntsville?

Architecture is very cool. If youre a lawyer, you will appreciate it very much.

The Harris County 1910 Courthouse on Fannin st represents the culture that the city of Houston has had for over 100 years. You can find culture at historic judicial buildings because of the laws that have been passed and the events that the city has experienced during that time and how it has changed and shaped the community. The Harris County Courthouse of 1910 has been historically important because for 107 years, it has been the place where cases are decided not just for Houston, but for all of Harris County. This court is an absolute treasure of the yesteryear of courthouses. They really don't build them like this anymore. And while there are no guided tours, be sure to involve the guards to tell you what they know and ask them to take you into one of the 2 active courts of the building and see the majesty of the setup of the Court of Appeals.
