This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist office. If you are African American be ware. I normally attend Apple dentist for ortho however my general dentist advised me that my middle son needed fillings. He said that I should go to the establishment who did the braces because his office isn't allowed to remove the braces. So I made a general appointment. Doctor Lee rubbed me the wrong way off the back she came out of her office saying, "Where is the Medicaid, I don't see the Medicaid." I was immediately addressed her saying no I work, I have insurance their is no Medicaid. However I felt in my heart she was stereotyping me, assuming because I'm African American I had to be on Medicaid. Doctor Lee comes out and was like shocked that my older son didn't have cavities, she most of you all have cavities like your younger brother. I was so offended! Then Ana, whom I presume is over the billing comes out and says your child needs a special cleaning which is not covered under your insurance. Now keep in mind the child with no cavities and attends the dentist every six months needs a special cleaning. At that point I was furious because I have never been told that in my life, this was just a tactic to get extra money. So I say no I would like to just get a regular 6 month cleaning. Anna gets upset and tells me that they will not do a regular cleaning. I left since when does the patient not have to right to say what cleaning they want. The manager then comes out and was like we can go ahead and do a regular at that point I was like no one is touching my kids. This was the worst customer service. If you ever need to go to an Apple do not go to this location Dr. Lee and Anna both need to be fired!!!!
