Best salon experience of my life, so much fun so many laughs and I left with my highlights BLENDED to the GODS!! Vanessa was my stylist and I just love her soul and her sense of humor and the care she put into my treatments. She knew what was best for my hair and took her time to make it beautiful. I appreciated the whole staff and I will definitely be back !
Today I feel very disrespected by someone I let do my hair for years and I always continued going to umar. I had an appointment at 4:30 I showed up on time. I got a phone call the day before about my appointment and it was confirmed. Here I am today; I see umar and he speaks and ask to talk to me outside and I agree. He begin his statement with we have a policy on not showing up for appointments and Im thinking to myself what appointment when I have already discussed the reason why I couldnt make it to appointments made in 2017!And 2018 in late September when I canceled from the app.At the end of the day I am paying customer. Not a child. Especially a black client.You dont pull your non black clients outside to talk dont treat me any different. Pulled me outside like I work at the shopAccording to umar he felt as if I wasted his time in sep of last year when I canceled from the beauty salon app. It was counted as a no call no show but once again we had discussed the situation. Here we are in 2019!!! And you taking me outside to discuss this bottled up feeling when you could of handled it last year. So this is not about money this about the whole process on how this was done; which was not professional. After going back and forth Umar says, I would have to pay for last time and this time; which I was fine with up until TONE. You waited till the last min to confront me about this issue and claim its because my name was different when I booked the appointment but my number is the same. It shouldnt matter at all.It all comes down to how you treat people at the end of the day. I paid the money i owned him but I most definitely wasnt going to stand to be treated like a child over a appointment I canceled last year and we had a discussion about it and how it happened?! You couldve had your money last year. I felt what was done was very childish; instead of just simply handling the situation the right way... which wouldve been in 2018!!!! September 21 I canceled my appointment with umar beauty through the app. When I received The phone call I stated I canceled through the app. It is not my fault your system was not in sync.I wish this salon nothing but success but I refuse to be made a patty because of something that was discussed about last year and you knew about!I am a customer not a child, please never forget this and I hope this shop can grow from this. treat everyone the same no matter what!Like I stated before today when speaking to umar i never canceled to waste your time or to disrespect you but I will not stand for unprofessionalism. Especially when I pay and show up on time. Things from 2017-2018 is a hard reach. Especially if I only canceled with you twice and not 3 times.I understand how you feel but dont make me an outlet for your rage. Please speak up next time about policy and how You truly feel during the time not the year later!! I paid umar his money from 2018 and left the salon. Have a great 2019 with 30 dollarsBless

Effrain is an amazing stylist. I did my keratin and hair cut with him. The way he treated my hair is really amazing. Thank u so much Effrain. Last week I did my Keratin smoothing treatment by him & I wanna wait few days to see the results and give the review. The result is amazing and my hair feels so good. The style he advised for my hair cut too is totally stylist. Its actually an amazing place with friendly staff.
