I don't have any real issues when visited!
One of the best libraries. I am not sure when it will reopen after it got affected badly due to hurricane Harvy!
Best library in the city of Houston. However, has been closed ever since hurricane Harvey. It's it's right next to Buffalo Bayou. No indication as to when it will reopen.
Always a pleasure attending this location. They have a large selection of DVDs. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Books placed on hold typically arrive soon & are easily categorized in order to find.
My son and I love this library! Just a few cons....ADD MORE PARKING SPACES! Parking is sometimes difficult because people who walk,run, bike in the neighborhood park I've noticed they park their cars at the library. So be warned you may not get a parking space. I love that the 3rd floor is restricted to kids however I have seen a few random adults (mainly men) just wander onto the 3rd floor with no kids and none of the employees said anything. There was one young lady who tried to tell one man he had to leave to the 2nd floor if he was not with a child and HE DID NOT LEAVE! Nor did she try to make him. That made me a bit uncomfortable and I kept a close watch on my son. Other than that we love this library we have been coming here for years and the staff has always been nice & helpful.
