I have been to local goods on several occasions at different locations and I have never had something that isn't delicious!! I love the rice village location, the staff is always super friendly and Rick is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our service is great. Pictured is the seasonal Harvest salad with shrimp and vegan butternut squash soup. Everything, as always, was delicious and I definitely recommend the carrot cake cupcakes!!
The Crunchy Chicken sandwich is in probably my Top 10 list of sandwiches.Chicken is so tender and tasty. Much like how a roasted chicken is cooked in England. Pretzel bun is warm, toasty, and soft. This sandwich perfectly fills you up without feeling stuffed. Huge variety of sides. I have not ventured out much past the chicken sandwich as it is so good.
Super-Awesome fresh healthy delicious vegan, vegetarian & meat options. Excellent flavors! Great menu. Quite happy.
Local Foods always has the best seasonal sides. I don't know that any of it is actually locally sourced, but if not then that's a shame. The sandwiches are always good and they have a great drink selection. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options.
As many before me have said, its all about the crunchy chicken sandwich. Actually, everything here is good. You can't go wrong at a restaurant that sources fresh ingredients locally and you can definitely taste it in the quality at Local Foods. This is a must stop for Houston. I'd bring out of town family/friends to try the best sandwiches in Houston!
