Solid, delicious and an elegant yet not stuffy experience. Service is friendly and attentive. You should want to consider making a reservation as this place is quite popular, and justifiably so!!
Top of the line, 5 menu, great oyster bar and the grill counter adds a special treat watching the chefs at work.Highly recommended for that special events or a quiet meal, it's a beautiful establishment. The staff go beyond the service one would expect at his caliber restaurant.Great job Bobby
We had a very nice dining experience. All staff interactions were excellent. Notable was the happy hour price for a wonderful selection of briny, fresh oysters. The shucker did an outstanding job of not leaving flecks of shell in our oysters! This consideration is becoming harder and harder to come by but should be the standard as it appears to be at State of Grace. Dinner was very good.
The hush puppies and deviled eggs in appetizers are very good. My shrimp and grits, not so much. Too soupy, and not enough shrimp. And the shrimp were quite small. It was not as flavorful as I expected. The collard greens were very good though, so some good things and some things that are just meh. I enjoyed my visit though. Our waiter was superb. Loved him!
Delicious food in a nice atmosphere served by capable and intelligent waiters. The fried chicken is true to The South. The blackened fish is delicious and all the sides are great and worth trying. I also recommend the quiet room if you're coming with a large group and want to enjoy conversation.
