I want to start by saying Tumi is a wonderful brand and we are life long customers. Love their products always. Today we had an unpleasant experience with the staff, though. Very unprofessional staff. A larger lady with crooked teeth and a short, white haired man with glasses assisted us today. We came in the other week to return a wallet that had a defect. The new one we got was not cut straight but we didn't notice until we got home. We then came back to get a new one. Both sales associates *pretended* like they could not see that the cut was crooked! It was evident they were lying. The woman said "yes they're all cut that way to make it easier to get your cards out." No cardholder that my significant other has had in 9 years of being a Tumi customer was cut as such. We asked for another wallet and showed her that the wallets differed. She tried to explain again and still did not look us in the eye. Then the gentleman came over and also hesitantly said "I do not see it, no, I don't know what to tell you. I've been with Tumi for years and never have had a customer have so many problems with a wallet." I'm pretty sure if you've been there for years, you'd have noticed defects along the way. We're not the first customers to notice something wrong. After more back and forth, we gave up after the gentleman told us to "just call customer service." We were not rude at any point and made it clear that this was not their fault; we just wanted to see if there was another wallet. My biggest issue honestly - was that it seemed like they just didn't want to "deal" with us again. If I'm paying more than $130 dollars for a wallet, I would hope it's in tip top shape. It was only our 2nd time in there and we were not being difficult; there was no reason to be annoyed by us.
