Went on a very busy Saturday night. The place was packed, but there was ample seating including by the atmospheric fire pits on the patio. Expect a reasonable wait at the bar for drinks due to the volume of customers and careful high quality concoctions of the drinks. They served draft beer relatively quickly. Overall, a fun experience and delicious drinks worth the prices.
The service was slow and the drinks were overpriced. We ordered a Coors Light and they don't serve that. Miller Light? They don't carry that as well. Jack Daniels? They don't carry that. Maker's Mark? They don't serve that as well. Soon to be another "fly by night", "inside the loop" establishment. Nothing makes this place stand out to overcome all of it's shortcomings. Don't waste your time or money . Beer Market access the street offers a much better variety.
We showed up with a group of 8. Before we really had a chance to look over their extensive menu, the bartender started cussing about slowness. There were maybe 10 people there, and no one except our party in line was being held up. The bartender then verbally assaulted one of the wives in our group, really upsetting her. Since some of our group had received their drinks, we decided to not order anything else and wait for our party to finish their drinks before moving to a friendlier location.The other bartender came by to apologise, and offered free shots for the group. She was obviously attempting to repair the abysmal service we had received, so we decided to stick around. Then the first bartender came back out and continued verbally assaulting our group. I've never had an experience like this and will not be going back. The bartender appeared to be altered, and should have been sent home.
What a place.. amazing drinks, friendly staff and great food. What else can you ask for. All the drinks that we ordered were innovative and had great flavors. Cauliflower Pastor is amazing. We went there on a friday and they had happy hour. This place was great value for money. Highly recommend this place.
Chris is the reason for this review. He is probably the most talented and knowledgeable bartender in Houston. I told him the type of drink I was wanting and he picked one that was perfect. It's like he read my mind better than I could myself. Thanks again, Chris!
