Had a circuit breaker go bad on a Sunday morning. This is typically a simple job to repair, so I pulled it out to replace with a part from Home Depot only to discover the circuit breaker had melted the connection to the panel. Uh-oh, now it's out of my pay grade. I still had power to the remaining circuits, but the one circuit that failed was the upstairs AC unit, which in Houston in July is pretty important, at least my 3 kids who sleep upstairs think so.Anyway, called several electrical contractors, none could come out until Tuesday or Thursday next week to even take a look. Left a message with Danny at Thor Enterpises, he called me back very quickly. I sent him a few pictures of the situation, he hunted around (on a Sunday) for parts that might enable a simple repair, rather than full replacement. Then we both accepted that complete replacement was the only option, but it would be better to wait until Monday to the work, when he'd have his full teams available.He knew the AC was out though, so he came by on Sunday, temporarily rerouted the AC power to the still functioning oven circuit to get us through the night, then gave me a reasonable quote for replacement.His two employees came by the next day and they were professional, courteous and efficient in their job. Overall I was very happy with their service. I'd definitely recommend Danny and his crews for Electrical work.
Danny Hixon of Thor Enterprises Electrical Services quickly diagnosed and fixed a switch/lights wiring mess that a previous, inexperienced electrician from another company left us with. He is affable and showed us what he was doing as he worked, and his charges were better than reasonable. We would definitely recommend and call on him again.
I cannot say enough good things about Danny! I purchased an old house (built in 1945) and needed to have the entire home rewired since it was knob & tube. Thor Enterprises did a phenomenal job, finished on time and under budget!! When the garage was built four years later, there was no question who I would call for the electric on the new construction. Danny and his team are the absolute best -- he even helped me hang an oversized mirror in the bathroom because he saw me struggling with it. It doesn't get any better than Thor Enterprises.
I have used Thor several times and each and every encounter was perfection. Danny and his crews always bust their backsides to do the job right for a very reasonable price. I even had Thor replace my entire breaker panel. Excellent work and carried out right on schedule. Would I call them again? You bet.
