Small neighborhood hardware store seem to have most of the things I need
Andy's is our favorite hardware store. It's close to our house. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can get in and out of there before you can find a parking spot at the big box store. The prices are slightly higher but it's close to our house. So I don't spend as much on gas. Plus I love supporting local business.

Andy's Hardware is a member of a vanishing breed: a genuine mom and pop's hardware store. Places like this have stuff that you just don't find in the big box stores. I don't mind it if an item they have may cost a few cents more than what a big box store sells it for. Andy's is convenient for me, and that means something. I like that there's a neighborhood hardware store close by.
