Close to home, so it is our AMC of choice, despite lacking the fancy seats. Clean and usually quiet in off hours. Went midday on Tuesday for $5 movie. Skeleton crew made it slow and awkward. Concessions laid out rather in a confusing pattern, as well. Staff was friendly, but it just felt weird. Maybe a better vibe during prime time?
First off, this theater is massively outdated. The seats in the imax are stiff 90 degree chairs. A little recline would be nice. The one place that has been updated is the concessions area and boy did they do a bad job. Its not clear where the entrance or exit is, theyve tried a sort of cafeteria approach where you grab your stuff rather than someone behind a counter handing it to you and then you check out. But the check out is also by where the fountain drinks are so when theres a good amount of people there the lines run into each other and good luck checking out in an orderly fashion and not getting cut. Finally, the last movie I went to there didnt start on time, BY 35 MINUTES!!! It was so bad that many people left and the staff didnt even notice until people told them the movie hadnt started. Its highly doubtful that Ill ever go to this theater again.
Theatre is good with plenty Indian movies running and with multiple shows. Seats are on first come basis. Trailers is also one of a best thing. Occupancy in one screen is not much... Sound effect is great too
What are they doing with their concessions?! I'm still confused at their system.... Do I order first? Which counter? Do I just grab the popcorn? Only, WAIT, NOT THAT popcorn!! That popcorn is only for "MEMBERS." My goal was simple : get two popcorns for my family. Why am I getting a lecture about not being a "member?" I didn't really want two sodas, why do I have to have sodas with these popcorn bags? Oh, my god, people, don't fix what ain't broke! I don't want to go back. I'll stick with Edwards.
Great movies, but moving to mostly kids movies now. Nice and clean. Snacks cost a lot. Good get out. Great place to drop the kids during summer or Saturday s provided they know how to behave themselves. Otherwise supervision will be needed.
