Educationally and interesting experience. The wait time for the tram taking us back to the Space Center was however very, very long. I am convinced the world's most technologically advanced organization can find a way to optimize that process.
A must visit place on the way back from the tram tours, the Saturn V rocket is massive and one to be seen and admired. Each Apollo mission is described as signages. Don't miss the farm around with longhorns, there is an interesting history behind the farm, read about it there.
Great fun! I suggest purchasing the Houston City Pass. We purchased the lunch with an astronaut which is an extra fee added to your admission but well worth it. If you purchase the city pass and decide to do the lunch be sure and visit the Space Center of Houston first (not because it's the best out of all of the items on the pass. It just works out better from a budget perspective). A lot of things to do see and enjoy! #houstoncitypass
This exhibit is free and open to the public. Although it is included as part of the tram tour from Space Center Houston, which has much more to see, paying admission is not necessary for those who are only interested is visiting the Saturn IV rocket exhibit (which was by far my favorite part of the day!)
Amazing place!!! Even if you do not know much about NASA and their missions to space, come to see the immense size of this rocket. It truly is a grand example of what man has invented on this Earth. Tours are provided if you are interested in taking one. I can not wait to return to this place again one day.
