Cozy Ethiopian restaurant! If you want to really taste real Ethiopian cuisine, this is the place to go. I love their dishes, whether you are meat lover or vegetarian there is something for you! The price is very reasonable considering the amount of food you get to be served and the kind of fresh and tasty food you get to eat. What amazes me is that somehow they managed to get that real traditional flavor that you're used to if you know real Ethiopian food with real genuine spices. I highly recomend it, and I enjoyed the customers service as well!
My first time being to an Ethiopian restaurant and boy am I glad I stepped foot in there!! The food is amazing!!!! The ambience of it is so capturing. Everything on the vegetarian sampler plate is extremely tasty!! But dont worry I tried the shrimp as well and it has the perfect season and touch. I was told the lamb chops are the best in town so there is so much to choose from. Ill definitely come back. SOON!!! I work in the area so Ill tell everyone at work so we can stop by for lunch !
Will definitely be back. The food was great. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Lucy was very nice and beyond welcoming. I felt like I had come over to my aunt's house for dinner lol. Totally different and much better experience than I've had at any other restaurant.
The dining room is beautiful with snow white leather seating and red table cloths. The artwork is stunning and when one of the family tells you about its subject, you'll be more impressed. If you want a more authentic experience, ask to sit in the back room; it's more like living rooms separated by sheer curtains. Service is wonderful. Portions generous. All food is fresh and delicious. If you do not like spicy hot, be sure to tell your server, as some dishes can bring a lot of heat. Vegetarian and carnivore, there is something for everyone. What a fun culinary adventure.
Nothing but good things to say from this restaurant and lounge! If youre looking for a typical restaurant feel, come early or stay in the main table area. If youre looking for a lounge or cool spot to enjoy, come later and enjoy the back lounge area. Im definitely no expert, but from what I do know, this is a pretty authentic Ethiopian restaurant. Excellent vibes here. Really makes you visit another culture while sitting right off of the freeway in Houston. I love getting vegetarian here because it is so delicious, and I think its one of the best cuisines for highlighting how delicious vegetarian can be if done well. Will come here again and again.
