Great area for family gatherings. Kid friendly and lots of shad tree. Very clean area with benches for sitting.
Today on Veterans Day it was awesome! Kudos to all that planned, organized, supported and participated! First VD parade Ive ever gone too, all the floats, bands, marchers and crowd made me happy, honored and proud to be an armed forces veteran. Well done!

I love this place. The water fountain is really relaxing. Although it's not their fault but downtown are wherever you go you have to pay Hefty amount for parking. Which sucks but other than that
The Tranquility Park is true to it's name. It is beautiful. It's downtown so once you fight through traffic to get to parking it'll totally be worth it. During the summer it's ridiculously hot. The ideal time to get the most out of park is to go during the end of the summer and throughout the fall and winter. It's also a walking distance from the station which is super convenient as well.
