Nice airport. Bathrooms are kind of dank. It's hard to find a Dr. Pepper and almost impossible to find a Diet Dr. Pepper. I mean, it's Texas... There are no chargers at the seats at the gates like there are at other airports but I guess I'm just spoiled.lol
I was ok until the TSA LADY jumped me in line. I was up all night waiting for them to open. My backpack didn't come through like it should. It was side lined and nobody was explaining. I have severe anxiety as it is. I didn't need anything extra. I miss my kids and Dad and haven't slept in over 24 hours. I asked what was going on because I was panicked. This chick ignored me and when I reached to myself that no one would help me she retries off very snarky "GOOD MORNING. " WHEN I DIDN'T respond as she wanted she continued repeating it and would not progress. Then I finally understood and said it back. She responded like I was a kindergartner "correct. Now I will talk to you because that is how we treat people." I wasn't being remotely rude before. I just didn't understand. And not I never want to come back to the hobby airport
3 Stars to TSA personnel, they really do an awesome job and you can tell they take pride on what they do. At the boarding gate, the jerk servicing flight 362 on 01/23 decided to break down our team because we were in different boarding groups on a half full flight, something that I have never experienced with any other airlines under same circumstances before.
What a nice airport! Everyone is so friendly and for a small airport they have lots of options. When I got off the plane I was listening to live piano and violin music,. They have performing artists that visit the airport. I would choose this airport any day over the international airport if you have the option.
With a super early flight today, I couldnt find my Rolex after clearing security. They were extremely helpful to me. They checked cameras and found I had left it in a bend. What a great security staff for taking time to help a morning traveler! Now I can enjoy my first cup of coffee!
