Mr. Kenneth Gattis was exceptionally compassionate and caring when tending to the details of my father's services with us. His warmth and caring shine through with a genuine heartfelt graciousness. He assisted and orchestrated a beautiful service, guiding us through everything. Highly recommended.
A.C. Cedillo assisted me with designing & ordering a monument for my son's grave. We must have drafted & redrafted this at least 20 times due to my own indecisiveness & I was very, emotional in doing so. A.C was very, patient & empathetic. I myself am in the company as well but I have never been on this side of things, which was very difficult for me. I was not very, pleasant at times & I did I mention I changed my mind several times & we started from the drawing board at least twice. A.C. kept things moving & checked in on me & reminded me of different things we needed done to get things done. When the marker arrived, A.C. took it himself to the cemetery, even though it was not a Dignity Cemetery! A.C. Cedillo went above & beyond to assist me in a very, difficult time. Losing my son a year & a half ago was very, unexpected. My family & myself are devastated still but we are very appreciative of the monument, the care we rcvd & the courtesy of the delivery to the cemetery as well.
The staff are very professional, caring, and have compassion. We purchased two places and service from Forest Park. Everyone we met was great, the sales manager, funeral director, person arranging the placement, even front desk and person answering the phone. Several times I did have to leave voicemail understandably they were with other families, but they would call back and I can contact them via their cell phones as well. They do work very long hours, weekends, any holidays, and even do house calls. 24/7 grieving hotline is available for a year. The place is absolutely clean. I came here many times and never saw the messy pictures other users posted. May be they improved. I also saw security guard driving around when I was there in past few times. The place is big and anyone can come visit, it is hard to secure it, so use common sense as usual and lock your car and secure your belongings. I recommend this place based on my experience.
Melinda Sosa was so helpful. I had not been able to check on my grandmother and grandfather's graves since Hurricane Harvey as I live in North Texas. I called and explained my situation and how worried we were about them along with my great-granparents who are buried next to them. She not only checked on them for my family... she is having their stones cleaned and adjusted for us. We are blessed knowing we have someone to trust with our loved ones. Thank you Melinda and FPWC!
Ms Detra took care us so well. Go and look for her for better service.
