For the reviewer with a negative review from a recent service, I would like to provide some further information. (Google won't let me respond to your review, so I have to post a new review). I was one of the people that you observed. The people you saw with name tags at the back of the church are church volunteers, who act as flower guild, alter guild and ushers for a funeral. We are not with the funeral home and any issues should not reflect on the funeral home. We take our volunteer duties seriously and consider it an honor to help families during these services, many of whom are much loved members of our church. If we were disrespectful, I am genuinely sorry, and it certainly was unintentional. Thank you for letting us know this happened, so we can make sure we don't leave other visitors with an unfavorable impression.

I was not at all impressed with the staff and the laughing going on in the entry of the church during the service. I attended a service at St. John the Divine and this home was in charge. During the service I excused myself to use the ladies room and in the entry area of the church was a group of ladies sitting down next to each other on a bench and two men in suits standing. The ladies were having a full on conversation and laughing. I thought this was very rude and happened to look over at the ladies and noticed a name badge on them. I went back inside of the church for the service and at the end asked the lady on the car valet service who that lady was and explained to her what I had experienced. The valet lady said she was with the funeral team. I have never experienced such inappropriate behavior let alone in the sanctity of a church during a service. That is not the place or time for laughing or conversations and I would expect more from a funeral home.

Bradshaw Carter and particularly Tripp Carter made our experience with my husband's premature death as less painful as possible. They are old school yet open and flexible to little nuanced requests we made or to sudden visits by family. I would highly recommend them because at a time like that, you want someone efficient yet warm and with no hassle.

We discovered last December that, due to a fatal birth defect, our son Lim would not be with us long after his birth. We wanted to make arrangements ahead of time. Our team at Texas Childrens Hospital sent us a list of recommended funeral homes and we simply called the first name on the list.My wife and I feel extremely fortunate that we selected Bradshaw-Carter. Tripp Carter quickly replied to us and called personally to explain Bradshaw-Carters process and services with a reassuring regard for detail. We encountered this same regard in their warm, organized, and thorough manner of communicating and serving. We also found it in their elegant West Alabama location, which is one of the most memorable interiors in the state of Texas. The chairs a la Chteau de Malmaison, the boulle cabinet, the Ming porcelain, the Madonna and Child icon fragment, these art objects together form a lasting testament to the late Ron Bradshaws vision of softening sorrow with abundant, elegant appeals to all five senses. It all seemed beyond our means before we found they have a tradition of generously underwriting infant funerals. Our decision to carry our son to term was a matter of honoring him and treating him with dignity. Tripp Carter and the Bradshaw-Carter team understood this on a deep level.Behind their care for our family, and families in similar situations, we discerned a deep sense of beauty and charity that put us at ease at every step of the way. We will be forever thankful we had them as dependable partners in a momentous point in our lives. They went above and beyond for Lim.

Tripp and his caring staff has just helped our family through the two worst months ever, as we lost my brother in law and my dad, only weeks apart. I agree with all the other testimonials; I can't imagine finding any group better able to guide and assist those of us who suffer the agony of losing our loved ones. I felt they had my back every step of the way, and their thoughtful suggestions made our events more streamlined, elegant, and personalized than I would have thought possible. Tripp helped us think outside the box, and came up with creative ideas which honored our loved ones and contributed so much to the celebrations of their lives. At the end of it all, I felt I had made new friends, and I will never forget how they were there for me during one of the most difficult times I hope I will ever face. Thanks again from the bottom of my healing heart, Martha
