My mother's funeral service was here and everything was amazing, they truly are the best in the business. Staff and facilities are top notch they know the meaning of over the top service but it comes with a pretty price. Mom always insisted in using Lewis and always said you get what you pay for and we could not have been more pleased.
I want to commend the amazing people at Geo. H. Lewis. My aunt passed away at the same time they were handling the Presidents funeral. Our big concern was worrying about her service even being able to happen and not having guests inconvenienced with all the activity going on. We were rest assured that everything would be handled and I must say they truly did take care of us. With everything they had going on they still made us feel as we were the only people they had to worry about. We never felt overshadowed, my aunts visitation and service was held and we as a family will forvever be grateful.
Fantastic staff and professionalism and service
Not long ago I lost my father and during this difficult time I needed support and help with the funeral arrangements. We received the highest level of service and treatment as a family at Geo H Lewis location. The funeral director Audra Barnes was excellent, very supportive and thoughtful, she helped us with the arrangement fast and easy and then she walked us through the entire service and was extremely organized and sharp with the timing. We never had delays or any other problems. Great place and great supporting and caring staff.
I never thought I would be reviewing a funeral home, but I am also a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due. I have been to many memorial services before but have never been touched and taken aback by what I experienced at Geo. Lewis. One often thinks of a funeral as you been to one you have been to them all, but such was not the case in my experience. My dear friend passed away and her request to her husband was that she wanted to be cremated and have a celebration in her memory. From the minute I walked into the place I was taken to a level of elegance and service that I have never experienced at any funeral home. Everyone was extremely courteous and professional. When I saw the celebration in memory of Nancy that they provided it was truly moving. It wasn't your typical memorial there was a lot of stories from many friends, laughing, some tears, lots of beautiful music and true to her nature everyone did a toast in the middle of the memorial with some Dom Perignon in her honor. We all then gathered for a reception and continued celebrating. The place was very elegant and over the top. I told my family if anything happens to me call Geo. Lewis cause I want this type of celebration while yes there is sadness in the loss, I want my life to be remembered that I LIVED.
