Carter Funeral Home handled both of my parent's funerals ... 5 years apart. (2009 & 2014) My mom passed away at home under hospice care. They met with us at the house to make the arrangements. 3 days later, when mom passed & we called them, they arrived very quickly. They handled themselves very professionally and were very compassionate. In 2014, my father suffered a choking incident. Despite all the work done on him by the paramedics and others, the lack of oxygen proved to be too much. We removed him from life support & made tentative arrangements with Carter Funeral Home. Bless the staff and their understanding. Diana Carter was & is a jewel to work with. It took a week for my father to pass away but they were ready to go as soon as they were notified. I've also attended other funerals in their facility. Never have I seen or heard them be anything but caring, compassionate & understanding people.
