The staff at Jester Plaza Clinic were overly accommodating and saw my pet and I on very short notice. They took extra time to answer questions and help us get the care we needed even though it was late in the day. The doctor and all the staff are excellent!!
Great service but pricey.
I have had two dogs treated at this practice, both fragile seniors. The level of kindness and mindfulness cannot be overstated. Dr. Lem uses all her senses, her considerable knowledge, and also her social skills to be sure that pets and their parents get the most "good time" out of their relationship.
Dr Lem and her staff are so kind, caring, and professional. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Dr Lem responds to emails and is great at explaining complicated issues. I appreciate all they have done to take care of our precious hound dogs!!
I have written and revised this review due to a very negative experience with Jester Plaza Vet Clinic. Mr. Steve Lem and Dr. Lem requested that I revise my review to state the facts. Both Mr. Lem and Dr. Lem expressed that the procedure performed on our cat was necessary. However, Mr. Lem stated in an email to us that their normal procedure is to inform clients of any changes. This did not occur. This procedure was not part of the treatment plan nor did they inform my wife of the change before performing it. It is our opinion that performing a procedure on our cat without first getting consent and without any notification is unprofessional and unethical.Per their request the facts of our experience with their Vet Clinic are as follows:- Jester Plaza Vet Clinic threatened legal action against my wife and I after my first review.- My wife took our cat to Jester Plaza Vet Clinic to have a chest x-ray. - Jester Plaza Vet Clinic performed an enema on our cat without our consent.- Jester Plaza Vet Clinic sent our cat home with my wife without informing her that they had performed an enema on our cat.- Our cat vomited 7 times, defecated 6 times and urinated 3 times for two hours after my wife brought her home. This happened in various parts of our apartment...on our bed, in the closet, on our sofa, on the living room floor, on the dining room floor, on the bedroom carpet, on the coffee table, and on the living room chair. - My wife tried calling Jester Plaza Vet Clinic to find out what happened to our cat but they were closed. - My wife was terrified, panicked and sobbing because we did not know what was wrong with her. We were about to take her to an emergency hospital. The reason we did not was because my wife called a close friend of hers who works for Nationwide Pet Insurance and she talked her through her state of distress and we agreed that if our cat continued vomiting and uncontrollably defecating and urinating for another hour after the initial bout we would take her to emergency. She did not continue, so we did not take her to emergency.- The following day my wife called Jester Plaza Vet Clinic and asked them to email the invoice from our cats appointment. After receiving and reading the invoice we discovered that our cat had received an enema that WAS NOT included in the treatment plan that my wife signed upon arriving at the clinic.- My wife requested to receive a refund for the cost of the enema since my wife did not consent to it and because she was not notified of the procedure. Dr. Lem spoke to my wife over the phone and she was deeply apologetic about what we had all gone through and agreed to refund the cost of the enema to her credit card.- After some miscommunication through phone calls and emails over the next few days about whether my wife needed to bring her credit card in to receive the refund, the refund was finally corrected from a credit to her client account at the clinic, to a refund to her credit card as originally requested and agreed upon with Dr. Lem.- My wife and I requested to receive additional compensation but Jester Plaza Vet Clinic refused to provide any service recovery in the form of additional compensation.
