I know my Volvo C70 is in good shape because Jerry Bailey has always given me 5 star service at Momentum Volvo. I didn't think the service could get any better but this time I noticed a marked improvement in the waiting areas and also some very courteous car side attendants. Very pleasant experience.
After leaving the car for a detailing job (basically cleaning and checking that everything was ok), the car was returned to me with the following: 1) The accessories were still wet when they were placed inside the car (baby car seat mats). They left water on top of the mats in the trunk, and then when passing them to the seats, these would leave water in the leather seats. Not good. 2), The door frames, as well as some spots outside were not dried properly. This means that any dirt or dust will get stuck in the wet spots, causing spots easily seen in a white car. 3) The Memory Setting for the seats was changed. Why it was changed? And it is not that this happens when they disconnect the battery (which they didn't), just simply the person that was cleaning, decided to put his settings, irregardless. 4) The settings of the AC were also altered. I understand that during the cleaning, it was a cold day, and perhaps the person cleaning used the AC to keep him warm while cleaning the interior of the car. But then why it was not returned to the original settings?. 5) Same goes with the radio settings. May seem small details, but for the service that they are supposed to provide, these are important ones, especially for the drying of the car and its components and the memory of the positioning of the seats. Some room for improvement here.
Volvo has always serviced and treated me kindly. The only complaint I would like the company to address is to.make it warmer inside the bldg in the cooler/cold months. ItsI been pleasant in the summertime. Thanks from me and I assure you many others.
