I agree with Jacob's review. This is a very cool cemetary that you can walk around and see different tombstones. some are very old and it makes you wonder about the person's life.
Historic German cemetery formerly know as "The German Society". Apparently it was renamed during WWI. I stumbled upon it from a road within Glenwood Cemetery. Initially I was confused. Seemed more like a Glenwood annex than a separate cemetery. Very interesting! I plan on going back for a better look.
It is lovely and serene. Many early citizens of Houston are there in their family plots ..I plan to make it my final resting place.
Took a stroll through here. It's very peaceful and beautiful.
