EnglandGreen is the only place I will ever take my Corvette. Stephen and company have the knowledge and expertise required for every aspect of Corvette modifications or upgrades. A++ people to deal with and my first call made when needing anything from service or mods for my vette!!!
My 2014 C7 corvette stingray was stock when England Green installed an A&A supercharger, Kooks headers, Kooks X-pipe with cats, and a Corsa Extreme exhaust. Car dynoed at 435 before any work was done and ran flawlessly, like a new car, only had 9300 miles on it. The work was finished but the tune was taking longer than anticipated, then was informed that it was not acting right and they needed to find out what was going on. Couple of days later they said it was finished and for me to pick it up. When I go to pick it up I owed an additional $1000 dollars on top of the agreed bill for "diagnosing and replacing a bad coil". The car dynoed at 525 rwhp after all the work, unimpressive to say the least. They just said different cars make different hp, and that those were real numbers, and it was what the car made. I pay the bill and take my car, as soon as I pull off from the shop the car is running rough at low rpm. Kind of like a hesitation and surge back and forth between 1500 and 2000 rpm. This was my first boosted car so I thought maybe that it was a characteristic of the supercharger. After driving for a couple thousand miles I notice that if I gave it gas and the car was at low rpm it would knock or rattle until it got over 2000 rpm, which it never did before the work. I kept reading that with a setup like mine the car should drive like stock until it was driven in boost. This car is my daily driver, and I drive it completely normal 98% of the time. the car never ran well from day one after the work was done. I was fortunate enough to find PatGtuning and Kurt at LSX Dyno tuning in Victoria. Drove up there and the baseline dyno was 540 rwhp. After about 30 to 45 minutes of working on his laptop, Pat G did the second run 616 rwhp! I was floored to say the least. Pat wasnt finished, a few more minutes on the laptop and another run and the car was at 634 rwhp!!! Unbelievable, but those were real numbers, that is what the car was making! Now the test drive, Pat said so I could try to replicate my complaints. As I drive off, I instantly feel that the car feels as good if not better than the day I bought it with 4600 miles on it. No rough feeling or sound, no knocking or rattles from the engine at low rpm! As far as installing parts on a C7 I guess that EnglandGreen knows what they are doing with C7's , but as far as tuning it, is a whole different story. That is my experience with EnglandGreen
I am very pleased with my experience. They made the repairs I asked for and did some extra things that the car needed as well. Michael did a great job inspecting the entire car, offering advice and doing all the work properly. Steven, the owner, really knows Corvettes and is not the typical shop owner trying to rip you off. Will go again for sure.
Stephen and his team are amazing and have excellent attention to details.
I had Englandgreen do some work on my C5. After my experience I would recommend them and look forward to having them install my ptochsrger system. Great performance shop with tones of knowledge and experience !
