Very poor service from this company. The owner is very abrupt and rude. I have bought several things from them and even sent clients to them but on my last contact with Scotty MacClymonds, the owner, he abused me saying; "all you do is call for free advice and you never buy anything. Stop wasting my time" followed by him hanging up on me. Firstly, what a thing to say, but secondly, I actually had purchased parts from him!. It is quite the shame when someone becomes quite the expert at something (which they are) but that unique knowledge and experience brings on arrogance and disrespect.UPDATE: Firstly.... I have never called this business asking for advice on "how to fix things". My business is the most respected classic Rolls-Royce restoration shop in America. Any calls I have made, have been about the parts he supplies - not repair and service work. Funny how the owner switches from saying to me on the phone I "never buy parts" to his rebuttle now saying; "Not since 2008". So now he admits I was a customer and yet still finds it ok to decide to be rude when its seems. Another way of saying; "you don't buy enough of us so we will can you".... Someone you want to do business with???
My one transaction with this company lasted way more than I had hoped. I called to order several parts for a classic Jaguar. They convinced me that my car was actually a different model. Then, when the parts came in wrong, they blamed me even though it turned out to be the model I gave him in the first place. Charged me twice for shipping even though it was their mistake. They were rude, insulted our body shop, and even cursed over the phone. Constantly gave excuses for the parts and timing.2 stars for having hard-to-find parts, but terrible customer service and attitude.
