We had a good experience at the Thai Consulates office. The representative was pleasant and helpful. She answered questions and explained things. The Thai consulates office felt welcoming and was nicely decorated with colorful representations of Thailand. Ours was just a walk-in, but for our return visit, we were given an appointment. Visa was ready sooner than appointee time and the representative gladly accommodated our request to come a day early. I also noticed while at the office that the representative also took phone calls and gladly answered questions. Thats one way to get information and save yourself a trip. There is also a wealth of information on their website. Come prepared with everything they require. This office shares a space with a law office on the 8th floor. Just go to the front and ask, and the friendly person behind the desk will point you in the right direction. Ample (paid) parking is conveniently located in the basement. Its $2 if you stay longer than 5 minutes. You can pay by card or cash. There are public restrooms on the 1st floor as well as cafes for refreshments. The building is just off of I-59 and only requires a turn to get back to the freeway.
