So my husband went to this hospital because he was in pain and got told if u dont have insurance u have to pay a deposit of $300. Well my husband didnt have $300 and he got told that this hospital is not a charity hospital and he ask the lady are u refusing me service and the lady said yes I guess I am. We dont do charity. This is the most horrible thing u can say to someone like where was the compassion and the dignity and the respect I guess thats how they treat ppl with no money or insurance. Horrible place. Or sorry this was the emergency room.
I loved my experience here. It was the best! I had my babygirl here. Filing paperwork was easy, food tastes amazing, nurses and staff were all so nice, except for one but they helped me in whatever i needed, i loved how they treated me like anyone else would. I was a 16 year old having a baby but they treated me fine except for one nurse that made a snarky comment about me being in pain of the contractions and compared me to another teen having a baby next door who seemed to be handleling her contractions well. I thought that was rude but it was just one nurse so i just let it go.
The service is good and relative fast, staffs were good brought my wife here, the reason for the two stars reviews is because their billing department is shady and unprofessional do not explain the charges or clarify the basics, they just want you to sign the paperwork and take your money, I paid over 800$ for the "package" on the spot spent about 4 hours there, and I asked twice if there were going to be any other bills mail to us and the lady said no this is it! but here I am receiving three different bills already.I am not complaining about getting extra charges but the lack of letting the patient/customer know about it, it is a very dishonest way to do business to me...
THEY SAVED MY SONS LIFE. He almost died. Dr. Choi and his crew in the E.R. were amazing. Very informative, quick acting, and spectacular bedside manner during the entire time trying to get my son stable. Amazing
People complain about the price but its better than going to a private emergency room that charges you 10x the amount. My experience was good. I spent almost 8 hrs there but nurses and doctor were friendly and answered all my questions with complete certainty. The ultrasound tech was serious but I'm pretty sure she has been there all night and was about to leave. Overall the experience was good.
